Getting a Mortgage for Real Estate in Thailand

In order to obtain a duly executed Thai Mortgage one must set the agreement down in writing and register the mortgage with the Thai Land Department. In Thailand, mortgages do not cover structures on the Thai property built after the mortgage was executed.
